Corresponding Author’s Responsibilities
The corresponding author is responsible for:
- submitting the manuscript and all requested revisions along the review process;
- ensuring that the manuscript meets all the ethical policies;
- ensuring that the submitted manuscript meets the manuscript preparation guidelines;
- ensuring that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere;
- ensuring that the submitted manuscript does not contain any copyrighted materials without proper permissions and citations;
- ensuring that all co-authors approve submitting the manuscript to our journal;
- providing correct author list with correct details (order, names, affiliations, and email addresses);
- providing a detailed statement about funding resources;
- collecting conflict of interest disclosures from all co-authors;
- handling all communications on behalf of the co-authors regarding manuscript submission, peer-review, publication, and post-publication inquiries;
- providing ethical statements such as ethical approval and patient consent when needed;
- requesting to withdraw a paper from our journals must be confirmed by the corresponding author; and
- taking the main responsibility for communication with the journal during submission, the review process, and the publication process.
