Editors' Responsibilites
Editors are responsible for:
- deciding whether or not the submitted manuscript falls within the scope of the journal and is of enough quality to be sent out to reviewers;
- handling the review process of submitted manuscripts and taking the final decision whether accepted or rejected;
- protecting authors’ confidentiality and handling submitted manuscripts without revealing its data to anyone outside the review process;
- ensuring a fair, unbiased, objective, and honest peer review process of submitted manuscripts in a timely manner;
- selecting the most suitable reviewers to review the submitted manuscript;
- keeping the reviewers’ identities anonymous to be in line with our single-blinded review process policy;
- ensuring that accepted manuscripts are original, novel, and interesting; and
- replying to the authors’ appeal against the rejections.
